XCR 440

Polaris 1997 - 1998 Models

(Liberty Powered VES)

About the XCR 440

The 97 and 98 XCR 440s were and still are impressive sled to rides!   Polaris sure got it right when they combined the proven low center-of-gravity CRC wedge chassis with the potent small-block Liberty VES 440 engine.

Although the XCR may be dated in terms of age, it continues to serve on the trails with respect to performance and aggressive handling.  Corner to corner, these  'Red Rocket' carve with ease, even compared to some of the more modern technology sleds on the trails today.

The XCR 440 engine produces approximately 94 horsepower,  can scale up to 100 mph and will achieve 18.5 MPG (US Gal.) or 22 MPG (Imperial Gal.) on casual riding.
