Well, it took us most of the day to get in due to swampy trails and obstacles. We were successful in locating the mine and with it 3 shafts and 2 adits This made for a worthwhile trip and the chance to see and hold an old mining drill. There is an antique pick and shovel on-site, so go ahead and start digging. Hard to believe but this mine is really in the middle of nowhere.
