Crownbridge Mine

Initially started in 1958, this property had changed hands and names on several occasions.  In 1963 it became the Crownbridge Mine where a shaft was sunk and a 250 ton / day mill was built.  In 1968, the property was purchased by Cannon Mines.  My first visit to the site in 1980 revealed no production, but the mill was still in-tact.  This was our 2nd visit in August 2003.
