An abandoned copper mine dating back to 1900-1905. The shaft was developed by the Breitung and Loon Lake Iron companies. If you enter the lower adit and proceed inward, you will connect with an open-cut to surface further up the mountain-side. This is a dangerous location to be walking around, especially near a huge open hole next to the open-cut. Use extreme caution!

hunting slightly west
of Northland lake and very close to the Breitung
Mine caves (30 minutes North-East of Sault Ste. Marie),
a police officer encountered
a strange ape-like
mammal walking
through the
